Shocking moment three anti-Ulez ‘blade runner’ protesters cut down three cameras in co-ordinated power saw attack

A group of anti-Ulez protesters have been spotted cutting down three cameras in a co-ordinated power saw attack.

The vandalism – which was carried out by so-called Blade Runner vigilantes – saw the group take powered saws to the poles holding the cameras at a London junction yesterday night.

Dressed in all black and obscuring their faces, the group’s attack is just the latest in a string of attacks against the emission-lowering initiative in the capital city.

Video recorded by a member of the group shows one of his accomplices standing nearby at a traffic light that hosts one of the ULEZ cameras.

Across the street at two other corners of the four-way junction stand other compatriots who have been assigned a camera each to deal with.

The group all start up their power saws whilst the man behind the camera commentates in a sing-song voice: ‘Let’s enjoy the show.’

A loud grinding noise then cuts him off as the vandals put the blades of their saws to the metal of each traffic light and sparks begin to fly.

It doesn’t take the group long before the poles topple, with the lights and the cameras atop them coming down one after the other in quick succession.

As they collapse, the protestors quickly turn and escape, hastily leaving the crime scene.

The coordinated attack goes off without a hitch and the protestors make their escape easily as the cameraman watches the last camera fall.

The video footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: ‘Must see: Blade Runners topple three ULEZ cameras in a coordinated strike. The people are fighting back.’

The footage has received over 10,000 likes and more than 385 comments from social media users, most of whom spoke of their support for the vigilantes.

One user said: ‘The people of every corner of the UK need to step up and follow the example of these Runners if they are going to have any chance of ousting their semi-fascist regime.’

Another added: ‘Taking down the traffic lights is not helpful and only poses a risk to the public.’

A third wrote: ‘These people are heroes, they appear to be the only ones fighting back.’

Another replied: ‘Not all heroes wear capes. Excellent job.’
